In this recipe i used Chocolate turmeric protein shake powder from @suncorefoods. I always love baking, cooking with turmeric. Turmeric is a potent anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant herb with lots of healing health benefits for the entire body. You definitely want more turmeric in diet. And this Chocolate turmeric protein shake powder tastes amazing with the chocolate and a mild zesty aroma of turmeric, they go so well together.

Protein chocolate crunch bars (vegan, refined sugar-free, 6-ingredient)
Ingredients
- 2 cups crispy rice cereal use a brand that's certified gluten-free if you need these to be gluten-free
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup rice malt syrup
- 1 pk chocolate turmeric protein @suncorefoods about 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp
- 200g dark chocolate melted
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
Topping (optional)
- 1 tbsp cocoa nibs @suncorefoods
- 1 tbsp pistachio nuts
- pinch of turmeric
Instructions

Prepare a 6x6 baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine crispy rice cereal and chocolate turmeric protein powder, and mix well. Add the rice malt syrup, peanut butter and mix until everything is fully combined and all the cereal is well coated. Transfer mixture to the lined baking pan, press firmly and lace in the freezer until firm.

When the bars are firm, cut into 12 bars and place back in the freezer. Melt dark chocolate with coconut oil and start dipping each bar in the chocolate.

To coat with chocolate, place the individual bar into a fork. Hold the fork over the chocolate bowl. Use a spoon to drizzle the chocolate over the top and gently tap the fork on the edge of the chocolate bowl to remove excess chocolate. Place in the freezer to set.

They keep perfectly in the fridge. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
