I have been a big fan of homemade granola for as long as I can remember. I enjoy having granola with yogurt, soy milk and fruits. It’s one of the best snacks and one of my favourite ways to eat breakfast.
This chocolate hazelnut granola tart makes a fantastic breakfast, delicious brunch treat or a healthy dessert. It’s so crunchy, chocolatey and delicious that chocolate lovers will instantly fall in love with.
To make the tart crust all I had to do was finely chop the hazelnuts, combine with gluten-free rolled oats, cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut oil and I pressed the mixture into a tart pan and baked it in a 180 Celsius oven for 20 minutes. When it was done I pulled it out of the oven and let it cool completely. It was so easy to make and so delicious. This recipe is definitely a keeper! 🙂

Chocolate hazelnut granola tart (vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar-free & 5-ingredient )
This chocolate hazelnut granola tart makes a fantastic breakfast, delicious brunch treat or a healthy dessert. It's so crunchy, chocolatey and delicious that chocolate lovers will instantly fall in love with. Prefect with yogurt or chia pudding and fresh fruits.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups gluten-free rolled oat
- 1/2 cup hazelnut chopped
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
Filling
- 1 cup non-dairy yogurt
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180 celsius. Grease rectangular Tart Pan. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, toss together oats, chopped hazelnuts and cocoa powder until evenly combined. Add in the maple syrup, coconut oil and toss until the dry ingredients are evenly coated.

Transfer granola mixture into tart pan, pressing the granola firmly into bottom and up the sides of the tart pan. Then place the pan on a baking tray.

Bake for 20 minutes, until the granola is toasted on top. Transfer tart pan to a wire rack, and cool until they reach room temperature. Tart will dry out and crisp up while it cools.

Gently remove the granola tart from the tart tin, fill with your desired fillings and serve immediately.
