Hi guys! Let me introduce you to our newest obsession. Healthy vegan and oil-free baked donuts! They are so delicious, so easy to make and ready in 15 minuets!
These donuts are made with @ceresorganics organic wholemeal flour and sweetened with organic coconut sugar. They are light, fluffy, they just melt in your mouth! So so good! Be ready for them to disappear quickly!
Did I mention that we finished the whole batch in one day?!
Wholemeal baked donuts
These vegan donuts are oil-free, made with wholemeal flour and coconut sugar. They are so delicious, light, fluffy and they just melt in your mouth! So easy to make and ready in 15 minuets
- 2 cups organic wholemeal flour @ceresorganics
- 1/2 cup organic coconut sugar @ceresorganics
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup organic unsweetened soy milk
- 1/2 cup non dairy yogurt (coconut or soy)
- 1 tsp vanilla bean extract
- 150g dark chocolate
- 1-2 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
Preheat the oven to 180c. Spray donut pan with coconut oil baking spray.
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut sugar, milk, yogurt and vanilla and whisk until smooth.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined, don’t overmix.
Add batter to a piping bag, and pipe it in.
Bake donuts for 10 minuets. Remove donuts from oven and let cool.
Prepare the chocolate. Melt the chocolate in microwave. Wait until it has cooled down a little.Dip the cooled donuts into the chocolate (double-dip if you want a thicker glaze). Enjoy!
