Today we are waking up to this crunchy coconut granola tart filled with coconut yogurt. The prefect way to start the Sunday and get fueled.
If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know I have a thing for granola and I am a big granola-eater. My favourite thing to eat for breakfast is yogurt with granola!
This coconut granola tart is a satisfying and delicious blend of rolled oats, almonds, shredded coconut and cocoa powder. It’s delicious sweet, crunchy, bursting full of flavour! They are fun to make and the granola crust is perfect to hold all that yogurt and fresh. Prefect with yogurt or chia pudding and fresh fruits.
This recipe calls for just a few ingredients. Rolled oats, almonds, shredded, coconut oil, maple syrup, cocoa powder, and vanilla. Simply combine all ingredients, then press the granola mixture evenly into your greased tart pan. Bake at 180 celsius for 20-25 minutes until it’s golden. Then let it cool to room temperature. Place granola tart on a serving plate, then they are ready to load up with your favourite fillings and serve!

Coconut granola tart (vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar-free)
- 1 cup gluten-free rolled oats
- 1/3 cup almonds, chopped
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2-3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla bean extract
- 1 cup non-dairy yogurt
Preheat oven to 180 celsius. Grease a 6" tart Pan. Set aside
In a large mixing bowl, toss together oats, chopped almonds and cocoa powder until evenly combined. Add in the maple syrup, coconut oil and toss until the dry ingredients are evenly coated.
Transfer granola mixture into tart pan, pressing the granola firmly into bottom and up the sides of the tart pan. Then place the pan on a baking tray.
Bake for 20 minutes, until the granola is toasted on top. Transfer tart pan to a wire rack, and cool until they reach room temperature. Tart will dry out and crisp up while it cools.
Gently remove the granola tart from the tart tin, fill with your desired fillings and serve immediately.
