Who can resist warm crispy churros with creamy chocolate dipping sauce?!
Hello guys! I’ve been waiting to share this recipe with you and i am super excited! These are the best vegan & gluten-free churros i’ve ever tasted! SAVE this recipe! This easy homemade churros recipe is very easy to make with just few ingredients, anyone can make it at home. 🙂
Vegan & gluten-free churros
- 1 1/4 cups Gluten-free flour
- 1/4 cup cane sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 2 1/2 tbsp melted coconut oil
- oil for frying
Cinnamon sugar coating
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Add milk, coconut oil and mix until all ingredients are well combined.
In heavy pot or saucepan, heat 2 inches of oil over medium-high heat.
Scoop churro mixture into large piping bag, fitted with large open star tip. Carefully pipe mixture into preheated oil, into about 4 to 6-inch lengths, cut end with clean scissors.
Let fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer to paper towels to dry briefly. Repeat process with remaining dough. Then transfer churros to cinnamon sugar mixture and roll to coat. Serve warm.
