Crispy flourless oatmeal waffles (vegan, gluten free & refined sugar free)

Healthy waffles made with rolled oats, flaxseed meal and coconut milk. They are crispy on the edges but a little fluffy in the middle, with good flavor. 

Servings 6 waffles


  • 1 1/2 cups gluten-free rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup flaxseed meal
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk, liquefied or soy/almond milk
  • 1/2 cup water or soy/almond milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil


  1. Preheat waffles iron
  2. In a food processor, pulse oats until resemble fine. Add flaxseed meal, baking powder, pulse to combine.

  3. Pour in coconut milk, water, coconut oil and maple syrup. Give it a quick pulse until well combined.
  4. Spoon batter into your preheated waffle iron and cook according to your waffle iron's instructions. Serve straight with maple syrup and fresh fruits.
