Matcha cookies ( Vegan )


  • 2 cups cake flour or all purpose flour *240g
  • 1 1/2 tbsp matcha powder *12g
  • 100g dairy free butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar of choice *65g
  • 3 tbsp soy milk *42g
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 200g dairy free white chocolate
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder *8g


  1. In a large bowl cream together sugar and butter. Add in flour, matcha powder, milk, vanilla. salt and mix until well combined. Wrap cookie dough with cling wrap and refrigerate for 20 mins.

  2. Preheat oven to 170c. Divide the dough into 17 pieces. Roll dough into balls. Place on a cookie sheet and use the cookie stamp (I used All Season Cast Cookie Stamps from Nordic Ware USA ) to press the dough. Bake for 12 minutes. Allow cookies to cool completely.

  3. Combine melt chocolate, matcha powder and mix well. Dip cookies into the melted chocolate. Place in fridge to set.
